According to Insider Gaming’s Mike Straw, EA Sports and 2K Sports have been discussing internally about developing college basketball titles.
Insider Gaming’s Mike Straw mentioned on X that EA and 2K are discussing reviving the NCAA Basketball series. “Multiple sources have told me that both EA and Take Two (2K) have had continued internal conversations about a college basketball game.” Straw tweeted, “Unknown how far along talks are, but there are groups within both companies pushing heavily for it.”
2K’s last release was the beloved College Hoops 2K8, featuring a recently-drafted Greg Oden on the cover. EA’s last college basketball game was NCAA Basketball 10, featuring then-No. 1 overall draft pick Blake Griffin on the cover in an Oklahoma uniform.
