By Shawn Stewart

Hey everyone this is Shawn Stewart with your NHL Player Survivor Picks that you can select on NHL Point Streak Survivor Contest on Splash Sports

NHL Players Survivor – How It Works

Day 1 Setup

  • Pick 2 primary players from different teams.
  • Pick 1 alternate player from a third team.
  • If either primary player scores a point, you advance.
  • If one of your primaries doesn’t play, your alternate automatically swaps in once his game finishes.

Day 2 and Beyond

  • Pick 1 primary player and 1 alternate (different teams).
  • If your primary scores a point, you advance.
  • If your primary doesn’t play, your alternate swaps in once his game finishes.
  • If your primary plays but doesn’t score, you’re eliminated.

Important Rules

  • Once a player’s game starts (including your alternate), your entry is locked — no edits.
  • You cannot reuse a player once you’ve picked them earlier in the contest.
  • The last entrant standing wins the whole prize.

You have until 7:00 pm EST tonight to make your picks

Here are my 5 NHL Players that you can select

  1. Morgan Geekie, RW, Bruins

Geekie is tied for the league lead with 20 goals, including scoring at least one in five of his previous six appearances.

Geekie also just scored the Bruins’ only two goals in the shootout win over the Red Wings over the weekend, Boston’s lone head-to-head meeting with Detroit before tonight’s matchup.

2. Brandon Hagel, Forward , Lightning

In the first month of the NHL Season, Hagel had only eight points, as of right now, he has 15 goals and 12 assists.

The 27-year-old has eight goals and four helpers in his five games, hitting the back of the net in all of those outings, most recently scoring twice against the Rangers.

The Lightning will face the New York Islanders on the road, and Hagel has nine goals in 11 contests away from Tampa.

3. Wyatt Johnston, Forward , Dallas Stars

Wyatt Johnston has posted 16 goals and 14 assists in 26 games. He’s averaging 2.88 shots on goal per night as well.

Johnston is a very productive offensive piece for Dallas, and he’s never afraid to put a puck on net.

The Stars take on the New York Rangers this evening, and while he didn’t score or have an assist in two meetings with them in 2024-25, Johnston compiled a whopping 12 shots on target.

4. Artturi Lehkonen, LW, Avalanche

Lehkonen is having a matchup between the league’s No. 1 offense and No. 31 defense: the Vancouver Canucks.

Lehkonen scored two goals in last month’s matchup versus the Canucks

Lehkonen ranks just behind MacKinnon in expected goals this season – 14.2 to 14.1, per MoneyPuck – despite tallying 11 fewer goals than the Hart Trophy odds favorite.

5. Kirill Kaprizov, LW, Wild

The Edmonton Oilers have been awful on the back end this season.

Kirill Kaprizov has scored in five straight and has an excellent chance of extending that streak to six against an Oilers side that ranks dead last in expected goals allowed at five-on-five over their last 10 games, according to MoneyPuck.
