1. Xavier Edwards (Miami Marlins vs. St. Louis Cardinals)
If you aren’t paying attention to Edwards, you’re missing out on the league’s most consistent contact bat.
- The Logic: Edwards leads all of MLB with 31 hits. He recorded two more hits yesterday and faces a Cardinals rotation he has already solved this week.

2. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Toronto Blue Jays @ LA Angels)
Vladdy is the hottest bat in the American League right now.
- The Logic: He is currently on an 11-game hitting streak and is batting .328 on the season. He’s tied for the AL lead in hits (30) and is facing an Angels staff that has struggled to miss his barrel all week.
3. Nico Hoerner (Chicago Cubs vs. Philadelphia Phillies)
Hoerner has evolved into a “Survivor” cheat code this season.
- The Logic: Batting .324 with 30 hits, Hoerner has locked down the leadoff spot at Wrigley. He’s coming off a 2-for-5 night with a home run and has historically feasted on Phillies pitching. He puts the ball in play and forces the defense to make plays—exactly what we need for a streak.
