MLB Hit Streak Survivor picks for 4/23/26

We went 3-0 yesterday with Xavier Edwards, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and Nico Hoerner. That officially puts us at 11-1 for the week.

If you want to keep the streak alive, here is how the contest works and who we are targeting today.

How the Contest Works

Survivor on Splash Sports is an elimination game. To win the prize, you have to be the last one standing.

Daily Picks: You pick one primary hitter and one alternate every day.
The Alternate: If your primary guy doesn’t start or get a plate appearance, your alternate automatically counts. This saves you from late lineup changes.
Survive to Advance: If your player gets at least one hit, you move on. If they go hitless, you’re out.
No Repeats: Once you pick a player, you can’t use them again for the rest of the contest. Choose wisely!

Where Can You Play?

You can play on Splash Sports in 35+ US states and Canada (excluding Quebec).

Thursday’s Top 3 Picks (4/23/26)

1. Luis Arraez (San Diego Padres @ Colorado Rockies)

We are going back to the well at Coors Field. Arraez is a pure contact hitter batting .300 on the season. In the thin air and massive outfield of Colorado, he is the safest bet on the board to find grass.

2. William Contreras (Milwaukee Brewers @ Detroit Tigers)

Contreras is having a massive season, batting .305 with 25 hits already. He has a high contact rate and rarely goes hitless in back-to-back games. He’s a strong leadoff-style threat for the Brewers.

3. Nico Hoerner (Chicago Cubs vs. Philadelphia Phillies)

Hoerner is currently tied for the league lead in hits with 30. He is batting .326 and thrives at Wrigley Field. He puts the ball in play more than almost anyone else in the Cubs’ lineup, making him a perfect Survivor anchor.
