Monday’s Top 3 Picks (4/27/26)

We are targeting elite contact hitters in high-probability matchups to keep the sweep alive.

1. Shohei Ohtani (Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Miami Marlins)

Ohtani is coming off a dominant Sunday where he went 3-for-3 with a home run. He is seeing the ball as well as anyone in the league right now.

  • The Logic: He leads the Dodgers in multi-hit games and faces a Marlins pitching staff that has struggled on the road. At home in Dodger Stadium, Ohtani is the ultimate anchor.
  • Game Time: 10:10 PM ET

2. Steven Kwan (Cleveland Guardians vs. Tampa Bay Rays)

Kwan remains the king of the “Survivor” format because he simply does not strike out.

  • The Logic: Kwan has the highest contact rate in MLB. He recorded another hit yesterday and is facing a Rays rotation that allows a high percentage of balls in play. He is the perfect leadoff bat to move your streak forward.
  • Game Time: 6:10 PM ET

3. Bobby Witt Jr. (Kansas City Royals vs. Toronto Blue Jays)

Witt Jr. is a hit machine who can beat you with power or pure speed.

  • The Logic: He is currently batting near .300 and has recorded a hit in nearly every game this week. Even a routine grounder can turn into an infield hit for him. He is one of the most consistent hitters in the American League right now.
  • Game Time: 7:40 PM ET

How the Contest Works

  • Daily Picks: Pick one primary hitter and one alternate every day.
  • The Alternate: If your primary guy doesn’t start, your alternate automatically counts.
  • Survive to Advance: If your player gets a hit, you move on. If they go hitless, you’re out.
  • No Repeats: Once you pick a player, you can’t use them again for the rest of the contest.
