1. Matthew Liberatore (STL) vs. Houston Astros
Line: 3.5 Strikeouts
- The Logic: Liberatore has been a bit of a roller coaster, but 3.5 is a very manageable number for a starter of his caliber. He’s coming off a mixed bag of starts, but he showed his ceiling earlier this spring with a 7-strikeout performance. Against an Astros team that will swing, Liberatore just needs to find his rhythm for 4 or 5 innings to clear this.

2. Trevor Story (BOS) vs. Detroit Tigers
Line: 0.5 Singles
- The Logic: Story is currently mired in a deep slump, slashing just .188/.202/.306 on the season. He’s coming off an 0-for-9 stretch with 6 strikeouts in the first two games of this series. Today, the Tigers send a locked-in rotation to the mound at Fenway. Until Story shows he can consistently put the ball in play without striking out (30.6% K-rate), the Under is the logical side.

3. Jeffrey Springs (ATH) vs. Chicago White Sox
Line: 4.5 Hits Allowed
- The Logic: Springs is having a career year, entering today with a 3-0 record, 1.46 ERA, and a stifling 0.77 WHIP. He’s holding opponents to a tiny .134 batting average. He recently dominated the Rangers (3 hits allowed) and the Yankees (1 hit allowed). The White Sox offense has been bottom-tier in production, making 5 hits against Springs a very tall order today.
