Nikola Jokic OVER 1.0 Block vs. Minnesota
The Timberwolves rank near the top of the NBA for most shots blocked by an opponent, giving up over 4 per game this season. Jokic anchored the paint in Game 1, and with the Nuggets at home in Ball Arena tonight, the intensity is going to be through the roof. One block is a steal for the MVP in this matchup.
Evan Mobley OVER 3.0 Assists vs. Toronto
I’m riding with Evan Mobley OVER 3.0 assists against the Raptors. Toronto has a tough top-10 defense, but their scheme traps guards and forces the bigs to facilitate. Mobley has been a monster in this role, averaging 4.0 assists against Toronto this season. He just dropped 4 dimes in Game 1 on Saturday, and 3 is a very safe floor for him tonight in Cleveland.
C.J. McCollum OVER 21.5 Pts + Reb @ New York
Finally, C.J. McCollum OVER 21.5 Points + Rebounds at the Garden. Since the January trade that sent Trae Young to D.C., C.J. has been the engine for this Hawks team. In Game 1 on Saturday, he absolutely smashed this line with 29 combined. While the Knicks have a top-5 scoring defense, they can’t stop C.J.’s volume—he’s seeing nearly 20 shots a game. He loves the bright lights of MSG, and 21.5 is way too low for his current usage.
