The Data Edge: 3 MLB Selections for BetSports Fantasy

1. Chris Paddack (MIA) – More Than 3.5 Strikeouts

Paddack has been the model of consistency to start 2026. He has cleared the 3.5 strikeout mark in 100% of his starts this season, recording 6, 4, and 4 strikeouts respectively. Facing a Braves lineup today, Paddack’s current “floor” of 4 strikeouts makes this one of the most reliable projections on the board for peer-to-peer play.

2. Dylan Beavers (BAL) – More Than 0.5 Singles

The Orioles’ emerging outfielder has shown a clear profile in the early 2026 season. Of his 10 total hits through mid-April, 90% have been singles. Beavers is a high-contact hitter who specializes in keeping the line moving. Against Arizona’s pitching staff today, targeting a single is a sharp way to capitalize on his specific hitting trends.

3. Giancarlo Stanton (NYY) – More Than 0.5 Walks

Stanton’s plate discipline has been a significant factor for the Yankees this April. He has already drawn 6 walks this season, including a streak where he earned a free pass in four out of five games earlier this month. Against an Angels staff that can occasionally struggle with command, Stanton is a strong candidate to show patience and clear this 0.5 projection.
