1. Detroit Tigers vs. Cincinnati Reds
Line: 9.0 Total Runs Combined
- The Logic: We are looking at a classic “Great American Small Park” scenario. The Reds are starting Rhett Lowder (3.07 ERA), who has been solid, but the Tigers are countering with Keider Montero (3.74 ERA). While both have decent ERAs, Cincinnati’s ballpark is historically one of the most hitter-friendly in the league. With both offenses finding their stride—and the Reds coming off a high-scoring road trip—expecting a double-digit total here is a strong play.

2. Julio Rodriguez (SEA) @ St. Louis Cardinals
Line: 1.5 Total Bases
- The Logic: J-Rod is currently on fire. In yesterday’s matchup against the Cardinals, he went 3-for-6 with a home run and a stolen base. He is seeing the ball incredibly well right now and has already cleared 1.5 total bases in multiple games this week. When Rodriguez is in this kind of “hot hand” rhythm, 1.5 total bases (which can be cleared by two singles or just one extra-base hit) is a high-probability target.

3. Carmen Mlodzinski (PIT) vs. Milwaukee Brewers
Line: 4.5 Pitcher Strikeouts
- The Logic: Mlodzinski has been efficient but isn’t necessarily a “high-K” volume starter yet, currently averaging around a 31.7% strikeout rate but often being pulled before the 6th inning. In his last start, he sat down 6 batters, but his season average is closer to 5. Milwaukee’s lineup is disciplined and has one of the lower strikeout rates in the NL central this month. If the Pirates keep him on a pitch count or a short leash, hitting 5 strikeouts becomes a sweat.
