The Conference Semifinals have reached a fever pitch! After a high-scoring Friday, the series shift gears today. We’re looking at a tie-breaking Game 3 in Montreal and a chance for Vegas to take a commanding lead in Anaheim.

Tonight’s Featured Projections

1. Montréal Canadiens vs. Buffalo Sabres

Selection: 3.5 Team Total Goals
The Play: OVER (Alternate Line)
The Logic: Montreal returns home with the series tied 1-1 after a dominant 5-1 win on Friday. The “Newhook-Matheson-Suzuki” connection has been lethal, and the Bell Centre crowd is arguably the biggest home-ice advantage in hockey. With Buffalo’s Alex Lyon facing a barrage of shots lately, expect the Habs to keep the pressure on and clear this team total.

2. Vegas Golden Knights @ Anaheim Ducks

Selection: Vegas Golden Knights -1.5
The Play: COVER
The Logic: Vegas leads the series 2-1 after a 6-2 statement win in Game 3. Mitch Marner is playing the best hockey of his career, coming off his first playoff natural hat trick. The Ducks are struggling with a 0-for-11 power play in this series and have been unable to slow down Vegas’s transition game. Look for the Knights to pull away by at least two goals late.

3. Tage Thompson (Buffalo Sabres) @ Montréal Canadiens

Selection: 0.5 Goals
The Play: OVER
The Logic: Even in a loss, Thompson is the engine of the Sabres’ offense. He led the team in regular-season goals (40) and is a constant threat on the man advantage. In a pivotal Game 3, Buffalo will rely on their 6’6″ superstar to answer the bell. He’s due for a snipe after a heavy shot volume in Game 2.
